How I Work

I thought it would be worth taking the time to explain how I work.

This will help you decide if working with me is a good fit for you and your business, at this time.

From the outset, I will give you a quote for a discrete piece of work.

That will either be based on a daily rate for the estimated duration I am in your business, or a fixed amount to deliver specific results (or a set project) for you.

That way, you will always remain in control of your costs, and your budget won’t run out of control.

I work on a clear proposal-and-scope basis.

This means that I will work with you to clearly define and scope out my deliverables from the start.

As a result, you’ll know the boundaries of what I’ll be working on and delivering for you, and it will only change if you want it to.

While inviting me into your business requires a level of investment upfront, I bring a level of experience and a fresh perspective, which allows me to review your business objectively and identify opportunities for optimisation.

My calm disposition and knack for solving problems puts me in prime position to alleviate your burdens, when it comes to implementing and completing a particular project that’s needed to take your business forward.

There are many benefits of bringing an expert into your business from “the outside”.

I go into a bit more detail about those benefits in this blog post here, but some of these are the expertise I’ve gained from a career in the financial services sector over the course of a decade; and an independent viewpoint, which might be just what is needed to jumpstart your business.
